I offer 3 types of wheels that can be used for intaglio. For the intaglio ony, the most useful wheel is the "specific intaglio" one. For a mixed use of relief and intaglio, or if you prefer long handle, chose the "Roulette handle for both intaglio and relief print" : same "frictionless" bearing as itnaglio roulette, but they are reinforced to use in relief print. For large format plates the maxi roulette brings a different gesture (size of a hammer handle)

- The "specific intaglio" roulette are designed for all small to medium-sized burrs, allowing you to work on gray or black surfaces (diamond bits marking the plate with many small points), or hatching (small to medium size). These tips make very precise marks on the plate. With this wheel you can also occasionally use the larger size carbide-tipped burrs available here

- With the "roulette for both relief print and intaglio", you can use all the previous burrs, but also the specific one for relief print.

- The maxi wheels are of much larger dimensions (handle approximately 20cm, weight approximately 500gr), designed to work in savings size or intaglio on larger format plates. The size and weight of the handle gives a lot more strength. Prefer the "ball" tips for relief print and "flame" for intaglio. Please note, for customers outside France, the weight of the tools means that the shipping costs are higher than for other tools.
