The blade is mounted on a ball-bearing mechanism, which guarantees optimal rotation, whatever the pressure used. The blades are made of tungsten carbide, a material much harder than steel or stainless steel. The blade change is easy (small chuck without tools). The cutter is sold with two spare blades, and you can find others on this page
