At the « salon des arts et metiers du livre » in Dunkerque (France), I undertook a mini training session in leatherwork with Géraldine Venant Mouroux, a book and antique document restorer from Boulogne sur mer.

After creating a tool to repair leather (using a plane iron) I started working on an idea which has occupied me for a while now: bringing together leather and wood in engraving tools.

The leather grip allows for better control, softness on the hand and easy maintenance.
